Recently, the 6th "Maker China" and Jiangsu Small and Medium Enterprises Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Wuxi Regional Competition was successfully held. Among them, the "Smart weather Enabling Industry Development" project of Jiufang Technology competition won the second prize.

The top 20 projects selected from this competition will be recommended by the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology to participate in the 2021 "Maker China" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for smes in Jiangsu Province, showing the style of innovative entrepreneurs on a higher stage.

Jiufang Technology is mainly aimed at enterprises, scientific research institutions, government departments, etc., providing high-precision and specific scenarios of meteorological data commercial forecast, analysis and application services. With the background of national supercomputer and the operation experience of "Sunway · Taihulight", Jiufang Technology has strong competitiveness in numerical simulation. At present, in terms of air pollution forecast, the simulation accuracy of Jiufang technology is close to 90%, and it has realized the ultra-high-resolution pollutant source tracing and diffusion early warning of 200 meters. It has provided services for ecological environment government units or scientific research institutes in Beijing, Shandong, Jiangsu, Anhui and other places. In the self-developed intelligent grid forecasting system, Jiufang Technology has realized the establishment of a fine atmospheric and Marine forecasting field with a resolution of up to 800 meters in the designated sea area, providing meteorological services of wind, wave, current, sea temperature, sea salt, sea surface height and many other elements, which has been successfully applied to Tianjin Port, Ningbo Port and other areas. The weather navigation products of Jiufang Technology for ocean shipping have gradually broken the monopoly pattern of foreign countries and provided a better choice for Chinese and global shipping enterprises.
