On November 2, 2022, the final of the first National Smart Ocean Big Data Innovation Application Competition was successfully held. The competition was guided by the National Marine Information Center and the Development and Reform Commission of Zhejiang Province, and co-sponsored by the Marine Information Technology Innovation Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources and the National Marine Science Data Center.

After fierce competition, Ninecosmos Zhihai Technology (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. (by Ninecosmos Science And Technology Co., Ltd. The project of "Ocean Shipping Meteorological Navigation Service Platform" signed up for was widely praised in the aspects of product features, application value and market potential, and finally won the "Top Ten" in the competition.

This competition aims to enhance the innovative and integrated application of Marine big data, gather and integrate Marine innovation and entrepreneurship resources, and build Marine digital industry ecology. A total of 132 teams and individuals across the country were attracted to apply, including universities, research institutes, business institutions and technical enterprises, and 76 qualified works were received. After layers of screening and fierce competition, the "Top Ten" works were finally selected。
