On March 29, with the theme of "Wisdom Gathering Yazhou Bay, Dream New Sanya", the second Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the first International Competition was successfully held in Sanya Yazhou Bay. On the basis of the first competition, an international competition was added. A total of 509 projects are taking part in such high-tech fields as Marine and agricultural technology, semiconductor chips and artificial intelligence. Finally, 23 projects stood out from the competition and won the grand final. They won the first, second and third prizes respectively, and won the bonus of RMB 1 million, 500,000 and 200,000 yuan provided by the organizing committee.

Among them, the oceanic navigation meteorological system project of Ninecosmos Technology won the second prize and a bonus of 500,000 yuan.

The oceanic route meteorological navigation system developed by Ninecosmos Technology deeply integrates atmospheric forecast, ocean forecast, ship hydrodynamic analysis, optimization algorithm, etc., to provide refined Marine meteorological navigation services for ocean-going merchant ships, cruise ships, cargo ships, scientific research ships, and provide various kinds of path planning, such as the shortest path, the shortest time and the most economical fuel consumption. It can meet the different needs of various roles in shipping, such as shipowners, captains and charters, and can be applied to different scenarios such as onshore monitoring and guidance, offshore driving and voyage evaluation. In the future, it will be used for scientific research in the South and the Arctic and support for special missions.

According to reports, as a key park to undertake Hainan free trade port policy, Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City will be built into a national deep-sea science and technology innovation center, "Nanfang Silicon Valley" and a deep integration of industry, university and research city gathering place.

As a leading high-tech enterprise in China, which integrates supercomputing, numerical simulation and artificial intelligence, and focuses on atmospheric and Marine forecasting and commercial meteorological services, Ninecosmos Technology will give full play to its advantages and contribute to the Marine construction of Yazhou Bay through self-developed products. At the same time, Ninecosmos will also attract more high-end talents to take root in Sanya to better serve local enterprises.

This competition is guided by Talent Development Bureau of Hainan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, Hainan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and Hainan Western Returned Scholars Association; hosted by Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Administration; co-organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, Ocean University of China, China Agricultural University, Wuhan University of Technology, Harbin Engineering University and other universities.

In addition, this competition also invited eight well-known "mass innovation" platforms, such as Star of Enlightenment, Optics Valley Coffee, Honeycomb Technology, Sifang Net Profit, Wan Chuangbang, China-Australia Innovation Center, to join the competition, to explore mature projects in depth. According to preliminary statistics, there are 6 projects valued at more than 500 million yuan in this competition. More than 20% of the projects have completed the A-round financing, and more than 50% of the projects have completed the angel round financing.
